Summer Disbursements are being sent weekly to Higher One. If you were enrolled part time or didn’t attend Fall 2007 or Spring 2008, submit your schedule to the Financial Aid Office to receive financial aid.

The deadline for submitting a 2007/08 FAFSA for Summer financial aid is June 30, 2008.

The first awards for 2008/09 including Fall semester have been made. Over 2600 students have been awarded for the fall semester. The first award letters are being mailed June 12th.

To apply for a Direct Loan for 2008/09 you must have a completed financial aid file and be in good standing. You can apply online now or loan packets for applying in person will be available July1.

Results from over 10,000 FAFSA’s have been received for Fall 2008. Have you submitted yours? Apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

LBCC Financial Aid office offers FAFSA Computer Labs at 2:00 Tuesdays at PCC & Thursdays at LAC for those needing computer access or assistance in entering their FAFSA online.

Is your file complete? All students must submit documents in addition to the FAFSA. See a Financial Aid Specialist to be sure your file is complete. We can’t award your financial aid to you until your file is complete.

All financial aid is disbursed by LBCC to Higher One and by Higher One to students. You must activate your LBCC Debit Card to tell them how to send your money to you. Students choosing to use the LBCC Debit Card or ACH are now receiving their financial aid two weeks faster.

The Higher One ATM at LAC is located in the cafeteria and the Higher One ATM at PCC is next to the Cashier’s Office. Use these ATM’s to withdraw up to $500 daily and avoid out of network ATM fees. Use the debit card to make purchases or order checks from Higher One to avoid carrying large sums of cash and trips to the ATM.
