We in the Financial Aid Program are here because of you and we consider ourselves to be partners in your education. Our mission is to provide the money you need for access to college in a caring and supportive environment. This will be an especially important task during the coming years as the financial crisis unfolds.
One of our goals this past year has been to improve our communication with you. We have made improvements in our financial aid website and you can now look up your financial aid awards in OLE self-service. The new FAFSA is available on January 1st and we also hope to have the to-do list activated in OLE by the time we begin processing applications. This will allow you to look up any items you need to turn in to the Financial Aid Office to complete your file.
As we approach the holiday season, I hope you will take the time to celebrate with your family and friends. Look back on Fall 2008 with a feeling of satisfaction in a job well done and look ahead to Spring 2009 where you will continue to invest time and energy in your educational goal.
